Life coaching is a tool that helps us to analyze our thoughts and how they impact our feelings, actions, and results in our lives. Our teacher-oriented life coaching will help you enjoy teaching as much as possible!

Teachers have a lot on their plates, and that is why we want to give you extra support! We ALL struggle with something from time to time. Whether you’re struggling with how to stop grading on the weekends, having a conversation with a difficult parent, or any other teacher problem… we are here for you to help you get “unstuck!” 

NO. Coaching and therapy are not the same thing. One way to look at it is that therapy helps you dig into your past and trauma and how to move forward from it. Coaching looks at your thoughts about current circumstances and how you can make changes in your mindset to improove your life. 

If you are currently struggling with anxiety or depression, we recommend that you speak to a doctor or therapist and get on medication if needed. Coaching can be a great additional tool for your healing but this group program is not a replacement for medical attention when needed. 

Not at all! There are just a few calls a month, but YOU are ultimately in charge of how much you want to attend. You do not need to attend every all to benefit! Plus, replays will be available both in video AND podcast form, so you could even simply listen to the coaching calls to-and-from school (and be ready to tackle the day after listening to coaching!) You can also quickly submit your own questions in the member portal anytime.

That’s GREAT! You don’t need to be in a hard place to benefit from coaching. Coaching is for everyone, because everyone struggles with specific things sometimes. Most people who try coaching end up continuing some sort of coaching because they see just how much it benefits their life! 

In our monthly workshops, Chrissy (or any coach we may hire in the future) will teach a workshop on a specific topic that is a current problem for many teachers. She will share strategies on how to use the coaching model based around this topic. Then, if there is time, she will also invite volunteers to be coached live around the monthly topic!

Some examples of topics could be: how to stop grading on the weekends, handing difficult parents/admin/etc, losing weight and keeping it off in the classroom, how to handle changes from the pandemic or other world events, how to deal with educational gaps, and many more. We will survey members on what topics they would like to see.

Open coaching calls do not have a specific topic. Member volunteers will be coached on whatever topic they’d like to bring to coaching. Chrissy (or any future coach we hire) will continue teaching the coaching model during these calls.

Our first coaching call will be on March 28- which is our “Stop Grading on the Weekends” workshop. We will post the schedule for April soon. We plan on averaging about 3 calls per month, but this will depend on member feedback. We will vary the times of the calls each month to accommodate different time zones.

No worries! We’ll have replays available for all calls in the club members area and on our members only podcast (coming in April)

We will provide a certificate for one credit hour for each call which will be available with the replay video in the members area. You will turn this in for PD credit. Please note it is up to you to check that this certificate will be accepted in your state/district. 

The calls are in a group setting. This is a fabulous way to learn the coaching tools. You may have an opportunity to be coached live, but even if you don’t you can learn SO much just by listening to others being coached.

If you have private questions you’d lie to be coached on, you can submit those to “Ask a Coach” where answers are published on the website anonymously.

If you’d like to work 1:1 with a coach, you can check out Chrissy’s website at www.thechrissyconcept.com. However, the only way to learn these coaching tools for as low as $29/month is right here in the Club!

In your member dashboard, you’ll find a link to the section where you can ask a coach a question. You will submit your question and type as much as you’d like about your problem. Then, every Monday Chrissy will answer the questions and answers will be published. Names are not published so it is completely anonymous. You can also learn a lot by reading the other answered questions that are posted each week!

Nope! You can submit a question every day if you want, or even multiple questions. 

It depends on when you submit your question! Our current schedule has Chrissy posting answers to all new questions every Monday. We’ll communicate if this changes!
