Battling End-of-Year Teacher Fatigue: How to Recognize It and What to Do
As the end of the school year approaches, many teachers are feeling a familiar sense of exhaustion creeping in. That “I’m counting down the days” feeling is often accompanied by fatigue, stress, and overwhelm. In this week’s podcast episode, I sat down with Chrissy Nichols, a mindset coach, to discuss end-of-year teacher fatigue, how it shows up, and—most importantly—what we can do about it. Whether you’re nearing the last stretch of your school year or looking for ways to recharge, this episode offers practical tools to help you refocus and regain energy. But first, here’s a sneak peek at our conversation.
Spotting the Signs of End-of-Year Fatigue
One of the most common signs of teacher fatigue is the countdown—the internal (or external) calendar marking off the days until summer break. Chrissy and I both shared how, as educators, we used to have a physical countdown posted in the teacher’s lounge. You may find yourself more aware of time passing, mentally crossing off each day as it ticks by. But what’s really happening when we hit this point of the year? Chrissy explained that, biologically, our bodies know the end is near. The warmer weather and restless students signal to our nervous systems that we’re in the final stretch.
But it’s not just the countdown. Fatigue also shows up as forgetfulness, double-booking yourself, and even irritability. If you’re finding that you’re missing appointments or juggling too many things at once, it could be a sign of burnout. Chrissy reassured us, “There’s nothing wrong with you if you’ve blown off a coffee date or missed a meeting. It’s just a sign that you’re overwhelmed.”
Becoming Aware and Taking Action
Awareness is the first step toward change. As Chrissy shared, we can’t address something we’re not aware of. She recommends taking a few moments each day to ask yourself, “Where is fatigue showing up for me?” This simple question can lead to powerful insights about your stress levels and what you need in that moment.
Once you have that awareness, the next step is to take action. Chrissy suggests writing down your to-dos and prioritizing them. Sometimes, simply organizing your tasks on paper can ease the feeling of overwhelm. But it’s not just about managing your workload—it’s about addressing the emotional toll fatigue takes on your body. Chrissy advises tuning in to how your body is feeling and soothing your thoughts. Whether it’s taking a quick walk, doing a breathing exercise, or just recognizing your exhaustion, these small steps help alleviate stress.
The Power of Coaching and Mindset Work
Throughout our conversation, Chrissy emphasized how mindset coaching has been transformative for educators in our Wife Teacher Mommy community. Coaching helps us recognize patterns in our thoughts and feelings, allowing us to shift from overwhelmed to empowered. Chrissy explained her model, where circumstances lead to thoughts, thoughts lead to feelings, feelings drive actions, and actions create results. By understanding this cycle, we can identify areas where we might be getting stuck and course-correct.
Chrissy also touched on the importance of “soothing” our thoughts. She shared how she sometimes speaks out loud to her feelings, asking, “Why are you here?” and listening for the answer. It may feel a little odd at first, but it’s a powerful way to address those underlying emotions that contribute to fatigue.
How to Manage Your Energy During the School Day
One of the most practical tips Chrissy shared is predicting your energy levels throughout the day. Are you a morning person? Do you hit a slump at 4 PM? By becoming aware of your energy peaks and valleys, you can plan your most demanding tasks during your high-energy times and save easier tasks for when your energy is lower.
Chrissy emphasized that it’s okay to honor your body’s needs. If you’re tired, take a break. If you feel your energy waning, a quick stretch or a few minutes of quiet breathing can make a big difference. “I’m not asking you to ignore your fatigue,” Chrissy said, “but to work with it and make a plan based on your energy patterns.”
Feeling and Processing Your Emotions
We also talked about how crucial it is to not just think through your feelings but also feel them. When you’re in a state of overwhelm, it’s easy to push your emotions aside. But taking the time to identify and process what you’re feeling is key to overcoming end-of-year fatigue. Chrissy shared that sometimes, when we’re feeling tired, it’s not just physical exhaustion but also emotional overwhelm. Journaling or doing a “thought download”—writing everything that’s on your mind—can help you sort through these feelings.
One resource Chrissy and I love for this work is Brené Brown’s Atlas of the Heart, which provides a deep dive into identifying and understanding our emotions. We recommend it to anyone looking to explore their feelings more deeply.

You are listening to episode number 10 of Wife Teacher Mommy the Podcast end of year fatigued with Christie Nichols. Hey, teacher friend. I’m so excited to be here with you today with another fabulous interview with the amazing Chrissy Nichols. As you may already know she is our life coach inside Wife Teacher Mommy Club. She is a veteran teacher of over 20 years and also a certified life coach with the Life Coach School. And she owns the Chrissy Concept, which is a life coaching business for teachers. And she is phenomenal. If you have listened to our past episode on the podcast, episode three, where we talked about stop grading on the weekends, you have heard some of her goodness, but we have even more of that in store for you today.
And I also want to let you know if you are listening to this episode live as it comes out on May 6, 2022. On May 10, we are doing a coaching call with Chrissy and normally these calls are only for Wife Teacher Mommy Club members. For Teacher Appreciation Week, we are offering this as a free call for anybody who signs up to join. So if you want to get a taste of coaching, if you love what you hear from Chrissy on this episode, and you’re just like, man, I want to get some more purpose, I want to actually talk to her sign up to attend this call, I will put the link in the show notes, it is going to be such a great time is a wonderful opportunity. Because I don’t know if we’re ever going to do this again. Or if we do it probably won’t be until Teacher Appreciation Week next year like this is not going to be a frequent thing. So definitely take advantage of this. Normally, the coaching is only for club members, which is still very accessible for teachers. But definitely join us on this call. And if you are a member, invite a friend to join you, it will be just such a great time and members, we are adding a bonus call this month as well for you. So get excited.
And one last thing before we jump into the call. If you are getting ready for the end of the year, and you’re counting down the days, which so many of us are, we have some great resources for you to make this last part of the school year that drags on a little bit, a little bit more fun. So let me tell you a little bit about those before we jump into the episode. So we have our end of the year secret student writing activities. Now these secret student activities are so much fun because what happens is every student is assigned another student randomly to write to. So it’s so much fun because it gets them writing is one of those things, kind of like I was talking about with Meghan Polk on Episode Eight of the podcast. We love those ways of getting kids writing and excited about it without really realizing that they’re practicing their writing. So with this, they secretly write to someone, it’s kind of like a Secret Santa, but it’s for the end of the school year. And there are different writing prompts they do. And then for their final culminating project, they create the end of the year award for that student. So they come up with the award for them and then everyone presents awards to each other. And it’s just so fun and meaningful. It is such a wonderful activity. But if you want something a little more simple, we also just had those end of the year awards that have really fun end of year award names that you can assign to your students; we have those general end of the year award certificates as well. And then we even have a graduation ceremony resource which is so much fun. I will link to all those in the show notes. So if you’re a Club member you’ll be able to just go and download them since you have access to all of them as a member. If you’re not you can join us in the club to download them which I highly recommend or you can use those individual links just to purchase individual resources.
Okay, so let’s get into today’s episode so today with Chrissy we are going to be talking all about end of year fatigue just like we’re going to be talking about on the free call next week. And you are going to learn so much from this episode. We’re going to talk about some of the telltale signs of end of year fatigue, why it’s happening more often how to become more aware of it and what to do about it. So let’s jump over to my interview with Chrissy. Chrissy I’m so excited to have you here on the podcast again.
Oh Kelsey, I am so happy to be here. Hello out there to everyone in the Wife Teacher Mommy sphere. I love being with you as I always do.
I know I just love our collaboration it’s so fun that we get to you know get together not only to record like the podcasts when we do that every so often but on our coaching calls with Wife Teacher Mommy so much fun. So we recently had you on the podcast but you know as I just mentioned, since then we’ve had a few of those coaching calls. So can you tell us how you feel like those are going?
I mean, I think they’re amazing, because I see the courageous and incredible folks who, you know, in the club who want to come and investigate their minds and understand the concept. And I think that coaching has been amazing showing everyone the model, which is circumstance. And then we have a thought about the circumstance, our thoughts lead to feelings, feelings, always drive our actions, what we do what we don’t do at school, at home in life, and then that leads us to results. I think they’re going brilliantly What do you think, how are they going?
Oh, I just think they have been phenomenal. I am just so excited about them like, and what I’ve noticed, too, is like on a lot of zoom calls, people come they like turn off their camera, they aren’t engaged. But in these calls, I mean, and you can have your camera off, if you feel more comfortable that way, like some people do. But everybody has been engaged, like they’ve been like commenting in the chat. These are just really like engaging calls that everybody like whether they are being coached or not, they feel like they’re getting so much out of it is what I’ve heard from our members. And I am too, like, I just feel like after we get off those calls, I just feel so uplifted and ready to tackle whatever comes my way. So I feel like it’s been amazing. And I’m I’m just really excited about this collaboration and the continued coaching calls that we will have.
Well, kudos to you for really adding coaching into something that is a core value for you. Because mindset and thought space and understanding what’s in our thoughts. I believe it’s harder to come to the classroom and to our students into everything that teachers deal with, if we’ve got some of that unchecked baggage, in our thoughts. So the fact that you recognize that the fact that you’re adding 1000s of dollars, let’s face it a value through coaching, and you haven’t increased your price. It shows me that you love your educators out there, you love your parents, and you really see the value of coaching. And I believe that we’re both just on a mission between the Chrissy Concept and Wife Teacher Mommy to change the world of education. Let’s go!
Yes, I believe every educator, every teacher, every homeschool parent out there, should be able to have access to these tools, because as an educator, and as I will preach again and again on this podcast, and I just did on yours will be recorded everybody head over to Chrissy’s, wait, or it will be coming out in a few days. So whenever it’s ready, head over to Chrissy’s podcast.
Yeah, it’s called Teacher Talk with Chrissy Nichols. But Kelsey, I will link you to the show notes. No worries.
Yes. And every teacher, every educator, every homeschool mom, we all need access to these tools. And as I always preach Wife Teacher Mommy, we are a teacher. But we are also so many other things like a mom, grandma, volunteer in the community, aunt, uncle, whatever else you have going on, there’s so many things like not only as a teacher, which is a full time job, but everything else in your life. And all of those things added together can feel so overwhelming when you look at it that way. So that’s what coaching is here for is to give you tools to redirect yourself because I feel like we always go back into that overwhelm. I do too. But it’s having the tools to use when that happens. So that is why I believe everybody should have access to coaching. And why added it to the club at no extra cost because I really want all teachers to be able to learn all about this.
And speaking of that, this month, we are going to be talking all about end of year fatigue on our coaching call. That is going to be our workshop for this month. We are talking about that on the 10th which if you’re listening to this as it comes out is in just a few days. And we are giving everybody access to that coaching call for free. So if you love what you hear in the episode today, be sure to head to the link in the show notes to sign up for that call. I don’t know if or when we’re ever going to do that again. So make sure that you sign up for this because normally the calls are members only. But today I wanted to talk a bit about it on the podcast. And so everybody whether or not they’re able to attend this call, they can kind of get some help at the end of year fatigue. And I really appreciate because Chrissy you’re the one who came up with the topic for this workshop and for this podcast. So I want to know why did you decide on this topic?
I decided on this topic because I’ve recently been back in the classroom for the past few months doing a long term maternity cover for a French colleague at a local school and I see it I see the end of year fatigue. I hear about it from my colleagues. I see in faculty meetings, the kind of fuzziness and lack of focus that I think sometimes we have back in August, September we’re raring to go even after January when we have a bit of a break. Usually for the winter holiday break. We come back a bit more refreshed but this time of year, when spring is springing. And the kids are getting a little bit more antsy it sort of announces inside of our bodies, our somatic and limbic systems. Ooh, the end is near. And fatigue is very real for a lot of teachers.
Yeah, I mean, I just asked in our club members Facebook group, like, hey, you know, when is, you know, the end of the school year, and basically everyone is already counting down the days, you know, everybody’s just ready for it to be over. Yeah. And for it to be summer and I love summer too. So I totally get that. But we want to also be able to enjoy the last little bit we have with these students as well, you know, or when, you know, for homeschooling, if we’re counting down to wherever we decide that you know, same thing. What do you think are some telltale signs of end of year fatigue for teachers?
That’s a great question. Kelsey, you just mentioned one of them, which is the countdown. After you know, over 20 years in the classroom, many of my fellow friends and peers we would talk about the countdown whether we had it privately on the back of someone’s door that we would close lunch and you had a physical countdown. Oh, we did. We did. We had a chart. We had a calendar sometimes that we would do our sort of x’s and cross out and I little countdown dance. So that’s one is really becoming more aware of time. So just notice, right now, as you’re listening to this, if you’re becoming more and more aware of, okay, 22 more days, 16 more days, you know, 30 more days, whatever it is for you. That’s one of the telltale signs, I think, noticing if you’re more forgetful, if you’re over scheduling yourself or double scheduling yourself, Oh, I forgot I have, you know, this meeting and my kids soccer game. And this. That can also be a telltale sign, triple scheduling been there, we have all been there, sister. There’s nothing wrong with you if you have blown off a coffee date with your best friend last weekend because you just totally forgot. So feeling like you’re dropping some balls that are in the air, very normal. And it’s okay. There’s nothing wrong with you. You are not broken.
I feel like those are definitely you know, the signs that I feel like I see too, especially like when you mentioned that double booking and like or triple booking. And then you said that too. So like Yeah, we all do this from time to time when we get in that space of overwhelm that, as I’ve mentioned happens to all of us and it’s just how quickly we’re able to redirect is what coaching helps us with? That’s right. And we were just talking I was recording on Chrissy’s podcast Teacher Talk about awareness. And that’s one of the big things with coaching. So how do we become more aware of our own end of year fatigue?
Yeah, well, just asking ourselves the question, right. So right now for everyone listening, we can do this right now. Just take a minute, take a deep breath, just pause. If you’re walking, if you’re on the drive listening to this, just ask yourself, Where is fatigue showing up for me now? Okay, and get that answer. And then ask yourself, what do I need right now. So if that looks like I need a minute to write down all of my to do’s, decide what’s a priority, grading, putting it in PowerSchool, putting it in your electronic grade book or physical grade book, whatever it is getting those projects done, write everything down, that’s already going to give you a sense of ease around your fatigue. Sometimes fatigue is disguised as also anxiety or worry or overwhelm. And I want everyone just to get really clear on, Okay, where is it coming up for me? You know, where am I dropping those balls? And then ask yourself what do I need right now? So that’s a great way to get aware of your fatigue get aware of what’s coming up for you. I mean, it could be as easy as I fell asleep and my kids macaroni and cheese last night or I fell asleep on the couch watching Bridgerton because that was my time for me and I woke up in my clothes, or I woke up in the middle of the night and the lights are on. I’ve done that many times, especially in my teacher life with no one to sort of ease me to bed or when I’ve been in the very single moments, it’s like 2:22am. And you wake up and you’re like, okay, the lights are on what’s happening. So just kind of notice those that show up. It’s different for everybody. It could just show up as sort of grouchiness. Yeah. So getting really clear, I always tell everyone in my life, put some pen to paper. It’s one thing just to think about these things. But I want everyone to really go back and apply that to your lives. Where is it showing up? And what do I need right now? Sometimes that’s enough. That’s enough. But if you want to look even deeper, I would just take a quick minute to do a thought download about it. That’s just a mind dump and just write down everything. Where am I tired? Where am I snippy? Where am I mean to myself?
I think that’s perfect. And naturally, because you’re a coach, you got ahead into my next question about what do we do once we have that awareness? And I love those two questions and doing a thought download. And then we also need to be able to take a moment so we get our thoughts down. But we also want to feel our feelings. Can you tell us a little bit about how we do that?
Yeah. Well, first of all, you asked a really great question about what to do. So the very first step is awareness. As I said, just get aware of what’s going we can’t change anything. This is a poorly paraphrase Carl Jung quote, but we can’t change anything until we’re aware of it. So you need to see it, you need to not judge it, you need to say, Okay, here’s where I’m dropping balls, or here’s where I’m maybe angry or short or not kind in with myself with my kids, with my partner with anyone. And then once we see that we can start to soothe. So I call it soothing our thoughts. Really, sometimes I talk to my thoughts to sue them, or you don’t always need to do a thought download. I literally speak out loud and I say, okay, snippy snips. Why are you here? And I just get quiet, and I get an answer. Sometimes it’s internal. Sometimes I speak it. So it feels schizophrenic to do this work sometimes, but sometimes it looks like this. Okay, anger, you feel like tiredness, but what are you angry about? And then my answer comes in it says, I’m angry that I’ve 102 projects to grade. And I don’t know how to do that. Then I come back to myself. And I say, Okay, if you were helping a younger new teacher with this project, 102 projects, what would you look for? Well, maybe I would just look for one thing. Or maybe I would just look for the thesis statement. Or it’s this time of the year. And maybe I’m just going to grade for this. Get rid of some of that perfectionist, thinking, that is creating the fatigue, not get rid of it, but but see it, understand it, recognize that it’s all about recognition. And then, in terms of what to do, and you know how to combat this. You asked in the really excellent question, how to feel through it. Let’s predict it. So that’s my sort of really amazing step. You know where your energy is best throughout the day. So think about your day, think about tomorrow, you can do this right now. Whatever day you’re listening to, and predict your energy flows. I’m best in the morning. My kids know that they’re like, have you had your coffee? Uh, you know, are you do need some more can? Can one of us go get you some more coffee for the faculty lounge? I’m like, no, no, it’s okay. But they know that my biggest energies in the morning, so I’m going to tackle all my grading, or if I have a free period, or getting up earlier, maybe even 15 minutes at this time of the year, there’s more light, seasonally. So really harness what your strength is, oh, maybe you’re a night owl, you know, so really harness your strength and see where your predicted energy can be and use that. Also see where it’s flagging. I flag after school at four o’clock, I need a snack, I think I need a snack, my brain tells me a new snack, I don’t always need a snack. But that’s a time when I’m going to maybe do some downward dogs, some quick yoga, quick breathing exercise, or just go to sleep. I mean, honor that. I’m not asking everyone to ignore their fatigue, I am asking you to look and see when your energy is high throughout the day and when your energy is low. And then make a plan based on that.
I love that you just shared so much good information here about like, you know, feeling those feelings in your body and then also just like you know what to do with it and how to acknowledge them but also knowing when to redirect and everything too so that was perfect. And one of the things that I thought of as you were talking too is you know when you’re doing kind of that model that you were talking about earlier in this episode, and you’re trying to figure out because sometimes you’re like, what is the feeling? And you’re like, I don’t even know. I wanted to just share really quick because I was thinking about it. I just started this book. And it’s kind of like a guide book is really amazing. And you’ve all probably heard it Brene Brown, love her. She has a new book called Atlas of the Heart.
I have it on my desk right now.
Yeah, I love it. That’s so good. Because like when I saw that she was coming out with a book and is basically like a dictionary of feelings. And like, Oh, my goodness, this is a partner to go with the coaching work. I feel like it’s such a good book. So I wanted to recommend that. I’m going to add that to my Amazon list that you’ll find in the show notes.
And I think you mentioned Brene’s work. And she’s so well known for shame and vulnerability. Yes, I think recently, I heard her on another podcast where she talks about the way we have deep connection with others in our lives, is really based on the connection we have with ourselves. Yes. So at this time of year, when we are tired, we have a sense of, Well, I’m just going to breeze through everything, maybe I’m going to ignore myself, maybe I’m going to eat a snack, or I’m going to drink that thing, or I’m going to binge that show or whatever. But that’s okay. I want to tell everyone out there, you’re tired. So some of those things feel like love. And if it feels like love, please do it. But I want you to be very conscious of how long you’re staying there in those moments. And also understand your intention for why you’re doing those things. Oh, I’m just so tired right now. And now I’m gonna have a whole podcast about tired over at Teacher Talk. So please, I can’t wait to hear it. But sometimes that thought of I’m so busy, I’m so tired. Those are our badges of honor. That’s false, that we put out there in the school world with other faculty like, I’m just so tired, or I’m just so busy. I never say I’m busy anymore.
I feel like it’s just like, those are what people say. Like you said, it’s like a badge of honor. It’s like, Oh, I’m so busy. Or that means I’m important. You know, because I have so much to do that I’m busy, you know, and it was when I’ve been listening to some coaches that didn’t they’re like, Oh, that’s not the case. Busy is a thought. Yeah. So thought,
Yeah, tired. We’ll talk about this more in my podcast. And I work with my clients on it all the time, one on one when I coach them, but we dive into this deeply in my practice, but there’s a difference between this sensation, the physical sensation of tired, and then the mental indulgent thought of just exhausted and you can, you can tell the difference. Be very honest with yourself in a loving way. But you can tell the difference between the way you’re speaking to yourself. I just talked about speaking to thoughts, my own self coaching practice. If you’re really saying, Okay, I cannot hold my eyes open. I’m about to fall asleep. I’m nodding off even as I’m doing errands. That’s one thing that’s a sensation, we can feel it in our bones. I call that bone tired. But if there’s this indulgent thought of, I’m just so tired. I’m so exhausted. I mean, you can tell the difference.
Yeah. And we all do it. So there’s no shame involved with matching yourself doing that, because we all do it. That’s right. Yeah, there’s such a difference for sure. Okay, so I feel like you’ve given us so many tips that people can apply right away in this podcast. But if people want to get more help with their end of year fatigue, what are your recommendations?
Yes, thank you for asking. I mean, I’m just going to review those few that I said. So if you’re listening to this podcast, you’re getting so much value from Kelsey right now here. To understand your end of your fatigue. Number one, be on to yourself, get aware. Number two, once you’re really aware, ask questions, like what do I need right now, talk to your feelings out loud, or on a piece of paper, you can draw a cartoon, I’d sometimes do myself as a stick figure. And then I draw a little emotional emoji. And then I do myself is like a little ping pong cartoon back and forth. And then finally predict, really predict. If that is not working. If you are still feeling like you’re in that spiral or mindset or emotional space that you need just a little bit more help with, please come to the Chrissy Concept so I can give you your own concepts back to yourself. That’s the goal of my coaching is to allow you to access your own intuition, your own wisdom, your own inner knowing because you know exactly what to do. Sometimes we just need a reminder. I said that one call can change everything. I give the first call for free. That’s the amazingness of me over serving and over delivering to all of our educators, but just come to www.thechrissyconcept.com. Don’t forget the, The Chrissy Concept and just sign up for a free call and we’ll talk about it. We’ll talk about where you’re feeling overwhelmed where you’re at feeling stuck where you’re feeling anything at all teachers usually come to me for three things time, power, improved relationships, including the relationship with yourself. And body balance, because this is the kind of work I lost 26 pounds with and continues. So, really, really one of the best ways to is to come to a coaching call come to ask a coach and the Wife Teacher Mommy, that is the first most amazing way to do it. Come into the club with these questions with these thoughts. Ask a coach everybody, you can get 24 hours of coaching for free. With your membership, of course, Kelsey is not up this price. She is amazing. So ask any question. We I’ve already gotten a lot of great questions about tired and fatigue. So I feel like that’s going to be another workshop call this sensation, bone tired versus indulgent thinking?
Yeah, I can’t wait for this workshop. And remember everybody, the one in May, May 10. If you’re listening to this before May 10. You can sign up to attend that call for free. And if it’s after that, don’t worry. We have calls happening every month in the club. And like Chrissy said, it is so inexpensive, it’s so accessible. So I highly recommend joining us and Chrissy one other thing that I wanted to ask you about is you talked about your May for Men, yes. If people are listening live, like if they’re listening in the future, this will be over. But if they’re listening, like shortly after this episode airs. What would you like them to know about that?
Yes. So I’m a coach for everybody. My public school peeps, my private school peeps, my homeschool peeps, everybody, my parents out there. But what’s really interesting is I am seeing with my clients who are it’s interesting, predominantly women, but they’re talking about their husbands and their educational sphere. Sometimes it’s a package deal, husband and wife teams, teaching, that’s great for vacations, I love it. You’re smart out there, you couples who have done that. There’s something really interesting happening with men and education that I I’m investigating with my clients or with any man in their life. So I’m opening up a very inexpensive coaching group coaching for men, it’s called May for Men, we’re really going to launch on May 15, you can learn more about it by coming to the website, or contacting me even directly, I’m going to throw my email out there, it’s a super easy, it’s thechrissyconcept@gmail.com. And just write in the subject line May for Men, if you have a husband, or a partner, or any man in your life, who is in teaching in education as administrator, even if he thinks that coaching is not for him, he is my person, right? If he’s skeptical about it, if he thinks, nah, I don’t need that I’m good. I am wanting to reach those people, those men out there, even just to listen to learn about what they’re going through. But I’m seeing a lot, especially post pandemic around connection, they’re feeling very disconnected from a lot of their female colleagues, they’re feeling quite lonely, they’re feeling quite isolated. And they might not even be able to recognize that in their bodies, something is just off. They’re not feeling their normal greatness at work. And I want to create a small group it will be 10 or fewer. I already have some signups but some spots are left. And again, very inexpensive as I start this work and see where it goes. So if you’re a man, or if you know a man, you will want to hop on this deal quickly.
I love that May for Men sounds amazing. And I’m so excited that you are doing this and that you are offering something specifically for men because I feel like they are often overlooked. And even like with my own branding, it’s Wife Teacher Mommy and you know, sometimes we have men, right? Because this for me, it’s like yes, it is the name Wife Teacher Mommy, as I shared on your show, was really describing me. So everyone is welcome.
That’s right. We don’t want to ignore the men in our lives. And my belief is that men make every teaching sphere better because they balance out a lot of the majority women in this spaces in places and for young boys and girls, it’s so important to see men as educators.
It’s so true. And I love that you like are serving this underserved audience that is so amazing. And you mentioned so many different ways people can get coaching, they can go to your website and book a free call. And then we have our workshop coming up. That’s right. If people are listening to this, and they are not in Wife Teacher Mommy club yet and they are considering joining us so they can participate in the coaching and ask a coach, but they haven’t done it yet. They aren’t sure if it’s actually going to be worth it. What would you say to them?
The first thing I would say is what are you waiting for? There is so much value in Wife Teacher Mommy, and it’s not simply because I work in collaboration with Kelsey. She has a vision. You really do. Kelsey, I have to say you’re a thought leader in education and you’re changing the face of what’s possible. I really believe this in the educational sphere, by combining this mindset work with also your resources. So if you just come because you need, you’re feeling the end of your fatigue, and you just need a resource, come for the resource stay for the coaching, I really think that you are onto something here with understanding ourselves more at school and post pandemic, we need this more than ever, why we do what we do, how to reclaim the joy that we once felt, and maybe we’ll feel again, back into the classroom, and just getting rejuvenated over the course of the summer. And also, please come to understand, your June event is going to be so good about how not to just overtax yourself in the summer, I’m just going to share my summers my friends used to be all about, I’m going to repaint my house, I’m going to learn Italian, I’m going to lose those last five pounds. Oh, by the way, I’m going to go to Europe for two months, I was nuts. And I would get to August faculty meetings September. And I would just be burnt out. Don’t do that to yourselves this summer, come into the club and learn how to be with yourself at the little bit more ease just 3% loving yourself just 3% more, it’s possible.
Yes, even just 1% all the time. 3% 1% Whatever every little improvement over time is going to add up. I love that you mentioned that. And yes, I highly recommend joining the club. And then also our event this summer. And if you weren’t in the club, you will actually get into that event for free. And live tickets are $5. But that doesn’t get you all the replay access and everything. So if you want to be able to continue on all the sessions and everything and come to the bonus day, we are doing a bonus day on the 30th only for members. So if you join the club, you don’t even need to buy a ticket, you can just come to the event, you’ll get everything everything we have to offer is there for members. So we highly recommend doing that. If you’re not quite ready though, you just want to dip your toe in, come to the free call, grab a $5 ticket to Educate & Rejuvenate and you can kind of get a taste for what is to come or what you will get in the club.
Yes, May 10 May 10, May 10 6pm, Mountain Time that is 5pm Pacific and 8pm East Coast time, please come to that call.
Yes. And this is May 10, 2022. So if you’re listening to this later, just want to make sure. So we’ve only got a few days from when this episode airs for that. But for those who are listening live, I highly recommend you come. Okay, so that was so good, Chrissy and we have so many fun things coming up. And I love that, you know, with the club and with the event like we’re collaborating on this. So it’s like, you know, we’re both just so excited about it.
Listen, everybody, Kelsey, and I have great banter, you can hear it, feel it. So we don’t even know what comes up when we have all these calls. Just amazing things fly out of our mouths and our thoughts space. So come just to see what’s going to happen. We don’t know. It happens live,
it’s just going to get even better and better. I know these podcasts are edited, like one of these times was to do a little outtake episode or something where it’s like, oh, and these were the these are the posts that got taken out. But so good. I love recording these episodes with you. But if people want even more of this come to the club, it’s going to be so great when you join us. Okay, and last but not least, Chrissy I know that whether people join the club or not, they’re going to want to connect with you after listening to this episode and episode three of the podcast that you were on. So where can our listeners find you?
Yes, they can find me on Instagram at @chrissyconcept. They can also find me through my website called www.thechrissyconcept.com. And you can connect with me on Facebook as well. Those are really the best ways I have launched my own podcast called Teacher Talk with Chrissy Nichols, I’m giving my best stuff. And I’m giving it in like eight minute nuggets. So throughout the week, you can just dip in eight minutes on a prep time, boom, get some wisdom, get just a shift, a shift maybe in in state, or emotional state. And then these longer, Kelsey has been my first guest. Thank you, Kelsey, we’re so honored that you’re my first interview. To do that those longer ones will also be for the weekends. So I’m really excited. But yeah, you can connect with me the best way is on my website and sign up for a call that’s free. It’s free. Ask your anyone, your husband, your partner, your colleague, we’re always better together. And sometimes one call is all it takes. I want to give everyone these tools so that they can share them at schools. It’s not to get everybody sort of hooked on the coaching. It’s to get you to understand that you can use these tools for yourself. So thank you so much for having me today. It’s just so wonderful to talk to you for real.
