This is quite possibly one of the best things that a teacher can buy!! One of the worst things is being so sick that you cannot be at school, but too sick to write sub plans so you go in anyway! Even worse is to have a death in your family and have to go in and make lesson plans, copies, etc. I bought this at the beginning of the school year. I made all of my copies and put them all in a filing cabinet ready for an emergency. Only thing that I hope to create at some point is a SmartBoard presentation to match so that I can throw it on a flash drive and put it in the filing cabinet too! Thank you so much!

Seriously AMAZING! I purchased another one for a lower price but it wasn’t something I could just leave for a sub with little explanation. I should have just bought this one to begin with. I literally printed them and put them in my emergency sub plan stash knowing that a sub would be able to understand what I wanted. Thank you for saving me so much time and effort!

These plans were great to leave when I had to be called out for a personal sick child. I was able to run off the work, that was review, and leave for my students. They were broken into groups for the other teachers in my grade to take so being able to work on their own was key. Very easy for myself and not too challenging for them. Complete life saver. Emergencies happen and are difficult to prepare for. This resource helped so much! I printed off a master set and put into a binder for myself then ran copies of the first set for my emergency plans. When I had an emergency come up and I couldn’t make it to my classroom, these were already ready to go. The worst part about emergency plans though is having to replenish them. This resource makes that a complete cinch. Instead of having to then hunt for a new set of emergency plans I just ran the second set and refilled my crate. Done. Excellent resource! Highly recommend!

This is a very helpful resource. I have purchased other products from the same seller and always been satisfied. I am currently not able to open the printable file. Can you help me with that? Thanks.

After being a sub myself, I sometimes had a hard time understanding what exactly the plans were or what the students should do after they were finished with the assignment. My usual response was, “Pick a book and read,” but that was sometimes hard to do if the class didn’t have a classroom library or you get the reply, “I don’t want to.” These sub plans have an art activity enclosed that is easy to understand that the students enjoy doing.
Now that I’m a teacher, I love that this has a layout that is easy for the sub to follow. They know which students to trust to help and which ones might cause issues. The assignments are easy to follow so I can just leave them in the Sub Tub and am ready to go without the stress. This was extremely helpful when I had to take an emergency trip when my sister had an accident. Included is also a “Thank you” note and a rating sheet for how the students behaved or how the assignment went.
Deffinately reccomend for a stress free sub and teacher!
