THREE Math Lessons that each include all of these components. A lesson plan for the parent is also included to go with each of the following lessons:

Quick Math Review: These quick reviews will go over grade-appropriate math content. 2 versions are included, one for each grade level, per lesson. A total of 6 quick math reviews are included. These quick math reviews help kids quickly review grade-level concepts several times throughout the month so you can be sure that they are on track!
Fluency Practice: These include quick problems that the children should be able to solve quickly. 2 versions are included, one for each grade level, per lesson. A total of 6 fluency practice pages are included. These fluency practice pages will help kids build their mental math skills!
Riddle: Children will need to solve the math problems to find the answer to the August themed riddle. 2 versions are included, one for each grade level, per lesson. A total of 6 fluency practice pages are included. Kids LOVE solving for the answer to these fun and engaging riddles each month!
Word Problems: Each lesson includes two pages of word problems. Use the one that is most appropriate or use both and differentiate. A total of 6 word problem pages are included to help build problem-solving skills.
What’s The Question? We created our signature “What’s the Question?” Activities to get kids diving deeper into their math skills! Each lesson ends with a “What’s the Question?” Backwards story problem. The children are given an answer and need to come up with a problem that has their answer. Then, they will brainstorm who and what the problem is about, write the problem, and draw a picture. Three of these activities are included.

Color by Number/Math Problem: 3 total color by math problem pages are included.

Card Game Math Lesson

A set of cards are included, as well as instructions to play Go Fish and war with the same set of cards. Cards included in color and black and white!

You’ve Got Mail Math Board Game

Children will practice addition, subtraction, and story problems with a FUN and engaging math game! A game board, dice (to fold and glue), game pieces, and game cards are all included. Language Arts:

Language Arts Lesson #1: February Fill-In-The-Blanks

Want your kids to learn parts of speech in a fun and silly way? These basic fill-in-the-blanks allow children to fill in the blanks of stories using nouns, verbs, colors, etc! They are simple enough for young children to be able to do, but also a fun and educational activity. Blank versions are also available without the parts of speech. Younger children can just fill in the blanks instead.

2 reading passages are included at 2 different levels. (Multiple choice or written response with crayon underlining). Choose one to use or use both and differentiate! One of the prompts is a narrative piece that takes place during Chinese New Year and the other is about Black History Month. This well-rounded resource gives students exposure to both narrative and informational text.
A lesson plan is included to introduce the topics for each reading passage as well!

Reading Lesson to use with ANY Book!

This reading lesson can be used for a read-aloud OR silent reading of any narrative story. It is focused on making inferences during reading.
