Satisfied - Great practice creating multiple equations for same number

These provide students the opportunity to create lists of equations that equal a given number and then turn those into a math story problem and a written short story (which is a nice writing connection). Each week is broken down into day sections so students can do just one part at a time.

Having purchased the multi-level bundle means I can differentiate for my students as needed while providing the same ultimate format for everyone.

36 weeks of backward story problems

I will be using this with my fourth graders in the fall as a warm up to math.

A different way of looking at math

I haven't used this yet, but I'm looking forward to introducing it to my daughter next year. I think it will help her see how math applies to daily life. She loves writing and illustrating stories so she should enjoy this assignment.

A fun way to use these is to have her write the story problems and have a sibling or friend solve them. A win-win for everyone involved!
