This editable drag and drop seating chart bundle includes PowerPoint and Google Slides template that allows you to create adorable seating charts on your computer. Most of the heavy lifting is done for you and all that is left to do is customize!
There are 10 adorable, ink-friendly designs, and a horizontal and vertical version of each seating chart template. Then, in each file, there are 3 different seating chart layouts to choose from individual desks, tables, or rows. That’s a total of over 60 templates! (10 designs x 2 orientations x 3 layouts)
Step-by-step instructions for setting up your drag and drop seating chart are included, with several screenshots. Instructions for color coding your seating chart are also included (optional).

The seating charts are easy to put together with step-by-step instructions! You can print them out and use them digitally on a computer or tablet, as well. You can rearrange the student’s desks as you, please. Mix and match the designs throughout the school year!

I would suggest adding a text box next to where it says seating chart where you can label your classes. The resource is exactly as described in the description and preview- a powerpoint file with squares that can be dragged and dropped for the desks. I use this seating chart, although it is not the easiest to move around. I have not found that I can type student names in at the beginning of the year and save them for the duration. I have to type them in every time I do a new seating arrangement. There probably is a way to do this, but I haven’t figured it out. It is at least better than using stickie notes on a manila file folder. Thank you!

When I had substitutes they commented on how easy it was to use for each period of the day. For my personal classroom, at the moment, I have round tables for kindergarten. Due to this, I couldn’t really use them. For other classes I’ve had, it works wonders!!
