A weather unit where kids learn about the weather by becoming meteorologists! In this unit, students will learn about the weather and its conditions by becoming meteorologists! Students will review what the weather is, what a meteorologist does, and weather vocabulary. Then, they will keep a Meteorologist Journal for 2 weeks. They will end by creating a weather forecast video for their final project. Everything you need for a successful unit is included!
Water Cycle Unit Info
This water cycle unit is integrated with multiple subject areas! In this unit, students will learn about the water cycle through a variety of fun, engaging activities. These water cycle activities integrate science, language arts, writing, social studies, math, art and drama into the water cycle! The product includes a sample unit calendar so you can use it as your water cycle unit. It would also work well as supplemental hands-on activities to integrate into your current water cycle unit!

A great resource and addition to my Water Cycle unit!

I'm really excited to have my kids use this. It's a good addition to our district "Earth, Wind, and Fire" unit. Someday I want to invest in an Apple tablet so we can use Do Ink and I can have the kids do the weather report while they are "visiting" the area they are reporting on. (I teach in AZ where it is generally either hot or cold (for us 4o degrees is cold)). Not much excitement most of the year compared to other places!
